about

After having chosen two of the more sturdy tracks from Clockwork's full length released on Parachute's mother label 'Life And Death' in 2013, we were immediately hit with a question. "What does Parachute aim to give? Useless to say we wanted to promptly set the pace and italicize originality but at the same time, quality. According to us there was no better way to succeed in our intent than to summon these two artists to take care of this extensive task.

The package kicks off with the man behind the acclaimed Answer Code Request moniker, Patrick Gräser reinterpretating 'First Floor'. An engaging alternative to it's mellower original version, in this remix Answer Code Request provides us with a glorious broken-beat-down dreamscape that methodically thrives to develop in all it's distinction, leaving you behind with cavernous feelings of fulfillment.

On the other side you'll find a pleasant surrogate to the previous stripped down variant, on rework duties this time Scott Monteith AKA Deadbeat. Throughout his signature fast paced groove Deadbeat takes 'Second Floor' to a higher level by preciously adding to it with it's restless percussive touch, fully backed up by the resonating stabs from it's original adaptation.

At then end of the two reworks the feeling you get is definitely one of attainment, where beautifully thought imperfections meet with the purity of the sources and generate a throng of perceptions that leave you somewhat appeased.
